Modular exhibition stands à la Atelier Seitz:
Individually designed, strategically reusable
Modular exhibition stands are often equated with system-based construction: Standardised modules, tool-free assembly, limited design freedom. We see modular exhibition stands differently: As custom trade fair concepts designed from the outset for strategic reuse – developed in the Munich area, ready for deployment worldwide.
Modular exhibition stands: One term, two approaches
Conventional system-based construction
Standardised, prefabricated modules allow for quick assembly and predictable costs. However, they rely on fixed grids and components that your brand must adapt to. This often limits design possibilities, and the predetermined framework compromises brand recognition.
Our approach: Individual reusability
If your exhibition stand is to be reusable, we factor this in from the very start of planning. The construction follows your brand identity, not a rigid building system. Every element is designed and crafted to adapt flexibly to different stand sizes and trade fair formats. The result is an exhibition presence that authentically represents your brand and remains cost-effective for years to come.
When modular exhibition stands are the right choice
The trade fair world of DMG MORI: Exhibited worldwide, stored in Neuching.
More than 90 completed builds, ranging from 9 to 1,200 square metres, across Germany, Europe and international venues. Plus a dedicated storage area of over 1,200 square metres at our facility.
Behind every DMG Mori appearance stands a well-established partnership: ALL ABOUT LIVECOM GmbH handles concept development, planning and on-site project management, while we take care of production, storage and maintenance of all stand components. And this approach works everywhere: From EMO Hannover and AMB Stuttgart to MAKTEK Eurasia in Istanbul and IMTEX in Bangalore, right through to Open House events. Every appearance is tailored to its location, audience and purpose, while consistently following the same guiding principle: DMG Mori's brand identity.
Built to be rebuilt: Storage and logistics between trade fair appearances
Reusable exhibition concepts only reach their full potential with well-thought-out logistics. Between appearances, we store your trade fair components in our own warehouse. Purpose-built transport systems reduce shipping volume and reliably protect all materials. Every element is documented and inventoried, so you always have a clear overview of your components and know which configurations can be realised with them.
Before each trade fair appearance, we check the condition of all components, carry out any necessary repairs and coordinate transport and setup. Wherever possible, the same assembly team takes charge: They know the stand architecture, understand exactly where special care is required and therefore work more efficiently. After the trade fair, we handle dismantling, cleaning and return to storage. This end-to-end responsibility minimises your risk and maximises the lifespan of your exhibition stand.
Modular sounds like compromise, custom like investment. This perception persists, but it falls short. Because the question is not whether you can or want to afford a custom stand. The question is what role trade fairs play in your communication strategy and how much differentiation you need to truly stand out in a crowded trade fair environment.
