For Wanzl, we created a brand experience at EuroShop 2026 in Düsseldorf that transforms exhibition space into genuine spatial engagement: Spanning over 1,000 m², we built an immersive retail environment that brings the company's full range of capabilities to life, from connected retail ecosystems and global rollout expertise to hands-on retail experience.

The concept follows a clear architectural logic: Precisely positioned sightlines, deliberate material transitions, and a considered lighting scheme guide visitors intuitively through different thematic zones, without relying on signage or section headers. The architecture itself becomes the navigation.

The concept is structured into several distinct yet interconnected experience zones:

  • Fastlaner – smart shopping: A self-contained store simulation framed in neon blue, showcasing Wanzl's autonomous shopping technologies, from smart checkout to smart charging infrastructure, in live operation.

  • 4 Spaces – designed for you: Four differentiated retail scenarios (Eat & Meet, Pick & Go, Storage, Ready to Cook) demonstrate how Wanzl designs for diverse use cases in modern retail, from urban convenience zones to a Japanese-inspired concept store.

  • WSL Refrigeration: As a Wanzl subsidiary, WSI presents its refrigeration furniture portfolio in a dedicated area featuring large-format displays and a refined material palette of dark wood and metal.

  • Your Solutions – the Wanzl way: A dramatically staged, blue-illuminated exhibition gallery visualises Wanzl's development and production processes along a narrative timeline.

  • Hospitality area: A two-storey lounge with a restaurant atmosphere creates space for conversation and connection, distinct in design and warm in character.

Atelier Seitz was responsible for the craftsmanship and technical execution of the entire brand experience, from constructing the layered zone architecture to the final implementation of all surfaces, lighting, and media installations.
