For Hopsteiner, a design was developed that interprets the hop plant – the foundation of all the company's products – not only thematically but in spatial form. The climbing movement of the plant becomes architectural choreography: Louvres rotating rhythmically on their own axis form a living façade. As wooden elements with green edges set in a black frame, they create a dynamic interplay of colour, materiality, and movement.

The interior unfolds as a multi-layered experiential architecture that precisely curates different atmospheres:

  • A lively bar as the communicative centre

  • Semi-shielded areas for focused conversations

  • A lounge-style tasting zone with soft lighting

Large, dark wall surfaces with contour-milled hop cone motifs create a compelling contrast to the light louvres of the façade. The products themselves are presented on delicate shelving, converging in a floating column.
